Project Five

Starting with a newly digitized image of yourself make a page with three, highly manipulated and very different self-portraits.  This has been interesting to say the least.  I have used several programs to get what different manupulations.  None of them exactly what I want.  I want one like Ronnie's.  Check her out!

One thing  found out is that these filters can really change the size of the file.   If you hold the curser over each picture you will find the size of the photo's in bytes.  It's very interesting to compare.

Baby Peggy: 20673 bytes

First I scan using Photo Deluxe Software.  Then I resize it.   Yuppers, this  is me.  Once I was really  cute.
With Microsofts
Photo Editor I added a canvas texture to the picture. I think this would be a nice feature to use when making backgrounds for web pages.
canvas background: 7541 bytes
painted Peggy: 8611 bytes
Here I painted a little bit with Microsoft's
Image Composer.
In Microsoft's Photo Editor I applied the pen filter. Penned Peggy: 10909 bytes
Peggy on Edge: 8426 bytes Here I applied an edge filter in Microsoft's Photo Editor.
