These pages are in tribute to my daughter who is now
15 years old. A daughter whom I have not seen for what will be three years this
August. Time that feels like an eternity. But, time that a mother knows a
daughter needs to grow and become who she will be. At 12 I did not believe she was
old enough to decide to go away. The system let her make her decision. Mom
knows now that she is old enough to be strong enough to get where she wants to go.
When she is ready to visit or comeby she will. I will be patient until my little
girl who is not so little any more is really grown up enough to understand what we were
both robbed of.
And in the meantime, if ever you see this, Pam. I love you with all my
